Welcome to Calvary Chapel Kauai Men’s Ministry
How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!
It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard,
Running down on Aaron’s beard, down upon the collar of his robes.
It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion.
For there the Lord bestows His blessing,
even life forevermore.
Psalm 133
Men’s ministry is the active pursuit of men in order to connect them to God, His Word and other men for the purpose of winning, growing and training God’s man in Christ. Our goal is to raise up godly men as leaders at home, work, and in our mission field right here in our community and to fill God’s great commission to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
This can be accomplished by daily study in the Word independent of the church or small groups like “Ohana Fellowship”. Our aim is to train men how to study the Bible filling each other with the Word and learning how to apply the Word to all areas of our life. This is essential to allowing room for accountability within the men’s ministry for the purpose of consistency and obedience to God’s Word.
Psalm 119:9-11 says “How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”
The Lord wants men to unite and connect with each other for the purpose of community, accountability, confession and prayer. (James 5:16)
For men to survive we need to learn to address major life temptations and crisis to support and encourage each other. (Ecclesiastes 4:11-13)
Come join us and get involved investing time and resources into the lives of other men. (Ephesians 4: 11-13)
You will be blessed!
